I do not want to write about politics or wars.
These are not Trivial Matters.
But the situation is this:
A lot of people died today and not very far from where I am.
I don’t know what to say, it is too sad to reflect upon, so it is easier to bury ones head in the sand and not read newspapers or watch news on the television.
But a lot of people were injured today.
A lot of people huddled inside the shelters all day and all night, fearing for their lives.
I want to recommend another blog for you, it is written by two friends, one a Palestinian who lives in Gaza and the other an Israeli who lives 10 kilometres away, in Sderot, just over the border in Israel.
Read it:
Life must go on in Gaza and Sderot

Thanks for the tip about the website.
Been thinking about you, while watching the news, and wondering how it is to be so close to what's going on.
Too be honest it is much easier to be here so close to "what is going on" than to be where you are.
If it wasn't for people in Sweden asking me about it, I wouldn't notice it much.
True some of my friends went to Sderot a couple of weeks ago to spend money in the shops (help the economy and give moral support) and also true the loved ones mother went to the border of Gaza a couple of weeks ago with food, water and other supplies as aid for those inside Gaza.
But apart from the occassional mention about it, I don't notice it much.
Today there were a lot of ambulances to and fro from the hospital I live next to.
There are apparently demonstrations in Ramallah in the West Bank that have turned a bit ugly. Ramallah is only an hour away from here or less and this is the biggest hospital in the area so...
"Halt!
I´ll be the acid spy...
